I am an independent children’s author and the creator of Vale Tales Library, a growing brand devoted to imaginative worlds and heartfelt storytelling. My debut collection, Stories from Thistlow Vale, was inspired by real people and animals close to my heart, blending timeless story themes with painterly, storybook-style illustrations. All my Stories from Thistlow Vale books are text only stories but the Illustration Guide provides full page painterly style illustrations. 

As both writer and creative engineering illustrator, I develop each project with guided precision for my vision—crafting narratives with immersive experiences for young readers, and readers of all ages. My first companion title, the Return to Thistlow Vale Coloring & Activity Book- One, expanded the collection beyond the books to include interactive formats, and I continue to explore new ways for children and families to engage with my stories beyond the page.

My 2026 Sticker Friends campanion piece provides children wimsical pages they color and place thier sticker friends into those scenes. 

Vale Tales Library is designed to host more than a single series. With Stories From Thistlow Vale as its foundation, the brand will grow to include additional collections and titles, each with its own voice, world, and artistic style.  While I’ve worked independently to build this foundation, I welcome the guidance and collaboration of agents, illustrators and other publishing professionals who share my passion for children’s literature and creative brand development.
